Safer with a View

I started this project almost one month ago on May 16th when I put out a call on Instagram asking for window photos – inside looking out from people’s homes. I received over 100 photos including 1 photo from each 50 states. Click here to continue reading my June 11th, 2020 post about Safer with a View.

The goal of Safer with a View is to encourage folks to say home – especially those who have the privilege to be working or staying home. BIPOC folks make up a majority of frontline workers and COVID is disproportionally hurting them at all angles – physical health, mental health, and income. We must all do our part by staying home, social distancing, and wearing masks to help keep everyone safe.

Thank you to Alisa Wyman for helping me organize the photo submissions, emails, and location information.

Thank you to everyone who submitted a photo.
